Our Story:
It all started with a little high school play. All Richard had to do was act like the goof he was and woman fell
in love with him. That is at least one woman. Tina was costume and make-up coordinator for a play and Richard was
the star. That is if you consider the star being the person who had a whole lot of one liners. Things really started
to click with Tina and Richard when Tina had to spike Richard's hair for a part in the play. It must have been
the way she took extra care in making him look ridiculous that made Richard fall in love with her.
The next few years were spent spending time with each other at break. Richard would slip away at the beginning
of each break to play basketball with the guys, but always found an excuse to leave early and spend the last 10
minutes with Tina. Were not sure if Tina enjoyed seeing Richard only when he was sweaty, but I guess she made due.
After 2 years Tina left to go to school in Ottawa while Richard was still in high school trying to get through a
long year without his partner. The year was spent with long phone calls almost every night, and lots of promises
to see each other on the coming weekend.
Richard finally joined up with Tina in Ottawa, and there they spent the next 5 years waiting for Richard to get
done of school. Tina was promised things would really start happening once Richard graduated. Maybe Richard had a
reason to take so long. No one will ever know. Finally Richard graduated from college and began looking for a job,
all the while promising Tina that once he had a JOB, things would start happening.
As luck would have it Richard found a job thanks to his good friend Shawn, who he thanks, I think. Well it wasn't
long after, that Richard managed to ask Tina to marry him. After close to 7 1/2 years, Tina had finally got what she
had been waiting so long to get, Richard promise of marriage and a nice sparkly ring..
